Malaya Command HQ (16/2/42)

February 16, 1942February 16, 2017

Spent a dull day mooching around. Pollock and I discussed plans of attempting to cross to the mainland and go “up country” hoping to meet up with a resistance group. Turned down these plans as impracticable.

So we are now POWs – what a position!

Probably the next most interesting experience to following a victorious army is to be a member of a defeated force!

Thanks God that Doris and Grace are away. They at least have a chance. We must wait.
